I have to admit, i love to cook and bake.
It’s not about cooking or baking so I can stuff my face with something, but more about finding a recipe that I can put my own twist on and share it with friends. On one of our “foodie” events where we have friends over to eat and drink , we got to chatting about how recipes would be handed down a family line from great grandma to grandma to mom/dad to daughter/son. How the memory of home and family always had something to be connected to the kitchen, and how much fun it would be to create our own foodie club.
We decided that it would be a great way for us to get together every 2 months and really tackle new ideas and recipes and have a day of eating and sharing stories. From there, it has really turned into something more of a “challenge” when we try to choose categories of something to really get us excited about the topic, and share all the stories that this meal reminds us of, stories we can share when we talk with our babysharkkbait virtual girlfriend online.
We have successfully enjoyed lots of noms and recipes in the last 4 years, and I hope to start adding some of those recipes here in this blog.
